The Davies family, proprietors of Schramsberg and Davies Vineyards in Napa Valley, presents the ninth vintage of the J. Davies Estate "Jamie", the finest Cabernet Sauvignon crafted from their historic Diamond Mountain vineyard property. Bearing her signature, this wine is named in honor of Schramsbergs matriarch, the late Jamie Davies. Along with her husband Jack, she revived the Schramsberg property in 1965 with an inspired vision of crafting world-class American sparkling wines. Five decades later a second generation of the Davies family, led by son Hugh and his wife Monique, have taken on the additional challenge of producing extraordinary Cabernet Sauvignon from vines grown on the familys hillside property. They are proud to release the J. Davies Estate Jamie Cabernet Sauvignon, representing the pinnacle of an endeavor that spans 60 years.
The vineyard blocks, totaling 46 acres, are laid out in four isolated pockets ranging from 500 to 1000 feet in elevation. They include the two Schram sections, Napa Valleys first hillside vineyards, originally established in 1862 by Jacob Schram, the McEachran parcel, first planted by Colin McEachran in 1878, and the Claes parcel, dating back to 1984. These are the southernmost vineyards in the Diamond Mountain District AVA. Flanked by two cool creek canyons (Nash Creek to the north and Ritchie Creek to the south) and surrounded by compact coniferous and deciduous forests, the vines here produce late-ripening, richly concentrated fruit with average yields of just two tons per acre.
Following a second consecutive dry winter, springs bud break and flowering activity occurred two weeks earlier than normal. Vines would ultimately carry a light crop in 2021; summer heat spikes nudged the small-sized berries and clusters to even ripeness. Our Cabernet Sauvignon harvest began at the end of mid-September and carried into mid-October, delivering fruit with bright and balanced concentration.

With great enthusiasm, we present this one-of-a-kind late disgorged offering of our 2000 J. Schram. From the inception of Schramsbergs efforts in 1965, the winery has sought to achieve the greatest elegance and individuality possible in our sparkling wines. Our bottlings epitomize Schramsbergs philosophy to create a wine in which no effort has been spared and no care has been omitted.
With 24 years of contact on the yeast in the bottle in our historic Diamond Mountain caves, this 2000 J. Schram Late Disgorged has developed exquisite richness, depth and complexity. Extensive aging en tirage enables savory, nutty and seasoned attributes to evolve with fruitful caramelization, density and creaminess on the palate.
More than 120 cool-climate vineyard sites in Carneros, Anderson Valley, and the Sonoma and Marin coastal areas are farmed each year to grow the best possible fruit for our sparkling wines. Hand-picking, early-morning harvesting, and light pressing of the grapes are critical for maintaining juice quality. A small amount of select Pinot Noir is included in the primarily Chardonnay blend, bringing a fruitful roundness to the palate. Distinct barrel and malolactic fermentation lots are then layered in to provide viscosity and depth prior to the wine going to bottle for its long rest within the caves. Following secondary fermentation within the bottle, the yeast within slowly break down through a process called autolysis, imparting a richness and complexity that can only be achieved through years of patience. Now 25 years after these grapes were first harvested, we release this outstanding bottle of wine for your enjoyment.
In 2000, mild spring weather paved the way for a long growing season. Cool and foggy weather in June and July set the course for harvest to begin in mid-August, allowing some of the coolest vineyard sources to mature into late September. This weather dynamic produced intensely aromatic Chardonnay with rich viscosity and a long, acidic backbone.

is remembered as a drawn-out one due to cool temperatures in August and September, with only a brief heat spike around Labor Day. With no rush to harvest, the grapes were picked at their optimal ripeness for sparkling wine, with delicious flavors, low sugars
and high acidities.

Schramsberg, the pioneer of ultra-premium quality American sparkling wines, is proud to present its fifteenth vintage of J. Schram Rosé. This sparkling wine is the result of a singular focus to produce a California sparkling rosé as fine as any made in the world.
This wine is blended from the vintages best Chardonnay and Pinot Noir wine lots from Schramsbergs collection of 120 cool-climate vineyard sites within the Carneros, Anderson Valley, Sonoma Coast and Marin County. Following secondary fermentation in the bottle, this wine was aged on its yeast lees for over seven years in Schramsbergs historic caves. It was then hand-riddled and finished with a select brut dosage. It is the companion to Schramsbergs J. Schram Blancs and J. Schram Noirs, considered by many to be the ultimate expressions of artisan American sparkling wine.
Our 2017 J. Schram Rosé is the epitome of grace, style and elegance in a glass. It lends itself to be served as an apéritif, with a first course or with a light main course. Fresh crab, scallop ceviche, seared swordfish, roasted poultry, or braised pork loin are all well-suited pairings.
For the 2017 vintage, abundant winter rains prior to the growing season helped recharge reservoirs and groundwater. Spring weather was cool to mild, with increased vine vigor and extended flowering in some areas. After a summer of heat spikes, harvest started in the beginning of August. Warm days and cool nights throughout harvest encouraged exceptional fruit development while maintaining bright acidity.

Originally released with the 1987 vintage our J. Schram, the 2013 vintage of this bottling was renamed J. Schram Blancs to denote this wines Chardonnay-based core. From the inception of Schramsbergs efforts in 1965, the winery has sought to achieve the greatest elegance and individuality possible in our sparkling wines. J. Schram Blancs epitomizes Schramsbergs philosophy to create a wine in which no effort has been spared and no care has been omitted. Representing only 2-3% of the winerys annual production, the Chardonnay-focused J. Schram Blancs blend is assembled from the very best base wine lots of the approximately 300 produced each year. This special bottling is dedicated to Schramsbergs founder, Jacob Schram, and has been a great success since its premier vintage was released in 1992.
Cluster samples from over 115 cool-climate vineyard sources are pulled several times before the optimal pick date for each block is selected. Complexity within the wine is gained through both oak barrel and stainless-steel tank fermentation. Additional layers are provided through small lots that undergo malolactic fermentation in barrel, enriching aromas and infusing creaminess on the palate. Our J. Schram Blancs is aged for eight years on the yeast in Schramsbergs historic Diamond Mountain caves; each bottle is then riddled by hand and finished with an exceptional brut dosage.
J. Schram Blancs is quite appealing on its own as an apéritif or enjoyed with fresh shellfish, caviar on toast point, smoked salmon, sharp cheeses, seafood brochettes, cedar-planked lobster, mesquite-grilled quail, or Serrano ham and porcini risotto.

Thanks to a relatively steady and mild July and August, and then a series of warm days at the end of the growing season, vineyards were able to progress to ideal ripeness for the light yields that were present.

The Schramsberg team and the Davies Family is thrilled to release the fourth bottling of J. Schram Noirs, our finest Pinot Noir brut offering. Labeled as the Schramsberg Reserve for decades, we started bottling our special limited Noirs blend in the J. Schram proprietary glass with the 2013 vintage. We now offer our ultimate sparkling wine tier with three selections: Blancs, Rosé, and Noirs. Representing 2% of our annual production, this richly flavored and full-bodied sparkler is made from only the finest base-wine lots produced each year. We release this finished sparkling wine nine years after the grapes are harvested, yet this fruitful, dry, toasty and creamy bubbly will age gracefully for decades to come.
Though primarily Pinot Noir, small amounts of select Chardonnay lots are added to the blend to lend additional backbone and length to the palate. Distinct barrel and malolactic fermented lots are also layered in to provide viscosity and depth. Each bottle is aged in contact with its yeast in our historic Diamond Mountain hillside caves for eight years, affording the development of seasoned and caramelized richness. The yeast is then removed and a finishing dosage, determined through extensive and comprehensive trials, is added to fine-tune the wines balance of flavor and structure.
J. Schram Noirs is well-suited with a main course, such as fruit-stuffed veal, pork tenderloin, roast duck with mango, cedar-plank grilled salmon, and Thanksgiving turkey. This flavorful sparkling wine can also be served as an apéritif with smoked oysters, caviar and such hard cheeses as aged Swiss Sbrinz, Sonoma Vella Jack, or Irish Coolea.

The Davies family, proprietors of Schramsberg and Davies Vineyards in Napa Valley, presents its twenty-second vintage of Cabernet Sauvignon crafted from the historic Diamond Mountain property they purchased in 1965. The estate vineyards were replanted to Bordeaux varietals beginning in 1994, and the J. Davies Estate Cabernet Sauvignon was first released in 2004 (2001 vintage). This offering is the creation of two generations of the Davies family, the product of an intimate knowledge of this property, reflecting their passion to craft delicious red wine. The wine is named in honor of patriarch Jack L. Davies, who along with his wife, Jamie, revived the Schramsberg property and established the preeminent American sparkling wine house 60 years ago.
The vineyard blocks, totaling 46 acres, are laid out in four isolated pockets ranging from 500 to 1000 feet in elevation. They include the two Schram sections, Napa Valleys first hillside vineyards, originally planted in 1862 by Jacob Schram, the McEachran parcel, first planted by Colin McEachran in 1878, and the Claes parcel, dating back to 1984.
The 2022 vintage began with over 20 inches of rain from October to December, followed by mostly dry conditions from January to March. After a frosty spring and some hail events, we welcomed a warmer summer. A record-breaking September heat wave kicked harvest into full swing. This distinctive weather pattern contributed to the diverse flavor profile for which Napa Valley cabernets are celebrated, ranging from vibrant and elegant to dense and powerful.

The Davies family, proprietors of Schramsberg Vineyards and Davies Vineyards in Napa Valley, presents its second bottling of the St. Helena Cabernet Sauvignon. Building upon its experience with its home property on Diamond Mountain in the valleys western Mayacamas Range, this bottling represents the Davies teams effort with Cabernet Sauvignon from this famed mid-valley appellation. Second-generation Vintner Hugh Davies, VP of Winemaking Sean Thompson and Consultant Celia Welch have collaborated well together since 2008 in crafting Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignons, and they are very proud to present this unique vineyard-designate bottling from the 2021 vintage.
Approximately 20 miles north of the San Francisco and San Pablo Bays, and nestled between the Mayacamas and Vaca Mountain ranges, lies appellation St. Helena. The hourglass shape of this appellations geography, and its distance from the cool waters of the Bay and the Pacific Ocean, set this historic location apart from any other growing region. Vineyards are located on ancient alluvial fans, that sweep toward the Napa River. Consistent heat is locked in during the day and is amplified by the hillsides; at night, that same slender width funnels moderating breezes to dramatically cool the vines, sometimes by as much as 40 to 50 degrees. This extreme shift in temperature helps the fruit retain ideal balance and acidity.
While largely unknown by consumers, this vineyard is held in high regard by those in the industry. Located in a small, quiet valley at the base of Howell Mountain, the east-facing vineyard benefits from the cooling breezes coming off the mountain and the Bell Canyon Reservoir. The soils are a Cortina Series alluvial gravel mix of red volcanic soils and obsidian. The property is 18-acres with roughly half under vine.

The Leonardini Vineyard was first planted to grapes in the late 1800s when the Lewelling Family settled on a large tract of land on the southern outskirts of St. Helena. The old-time farmers of the area said that the soil, Cortina Gravely Loam, in this particular area was renowned for black wine grapes. However, the quality of the harvests varied greatly depending on seasonal rainfall due to the fast draining soils. This wine is crafted from two distinct blocks of Cabernet Sauvignon, creating depth of color and flavor.

Oliven Vineyard, which is located south of Tubbs Lane within the Calistoga AVA, was developed in 2017. Owners Jon and Joy Alferness planted three blocks of Cabernet Sauvignon in the well-draining alluvial and loamy soils on the property, and have farmed the land organically from the start. At approximately 390 ft. in elevation, daytime temperatures at this altitude are quite warmer allowing for a fast accumulation of sugar and ripening of the fruit during the growing season. Cool maritime air from the Pacific Ocean, which arrives at night, helps the grapes maintain their acidic structure and balance. This combination of geology and climate creates an exceptional site to cultivate delicious Cabernet Sauvignon.

The Davies family, proprietors of Schramsberg Vineyards and Davies Vineyards in Napa Valley, presents its ninth bottling of the Red Cap Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon from the Howell Mountain District. Building upon its experience with its home property on Diamond Mountain in the valleys western Mayacamas Range, this bottling represents the Davies teams effort with the valleys eastern Vaca Range. Second-generation Vintner Hugh Davies, Head Winemaker Sean Thompson and Consultant Celia Welch have collaborated well together since 2008 in crafting Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignons, and they are very proud to present this unique vineyard-designate bottling from the 2022 vintage.
Red Cap Vineyard, planted in 2003 and farmed sustainably by the Altemus family, is located near the summit of Howell Mountain at an elevation of 1,900 feet. At this location, the Aiken loam and red rocky volcanic soils provide great root support and drainage. These mountain soils produce smaller berries with higher skin to juice ratio, deepening the color of the wine while increasing tannins. Howell Mountain is known for powerful tannins, however our winemaking team skillfully extracts just enough to produce a wine with rounded and balanced structure. Red Caps position above the fog line affords it a broad temperature range throughout the day. When compared to the valley floor, evening temperatures are warmer and daytime temperatures are cooler, which supports greater acid retention within the grapes. This combination of soil and environmental conditions leads to an extraordinary site for growing delicious Cabernet Sauvignon.

The Davies family, proprietors of Schramsberg Vineyards and Davies Vineyards in Napa Valley, presents its fourth bottling of the Renteria 360 Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon from the Oakville District. Building upon its experience with its home property on Diamond Mountain in the valleys western Mayacamas Range, this bottling represents the Davies teams effort with Cabernet Sauvignon from the valleys Oakville appellation. Second-generation Vintner Hugh Davies, VP of Winemaking Sean Thompson and Consultant Celia Welch have collaborated well together since 2008 in crafting Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignons, and they are very proud to present this unique vineyard-designate bottling from the 2021 vintage
The Oakville AVA extends over an expanse of well-drained gravel soil between the Vaca and Mayacamas Mountains. The soils found here are the result of sedimentary deposits from the hills that form Napa Valley. What makes Oakvilles climate distinctive is its transitional, mid-valley location. Oakville is just far enough south to receive regular morning fog from the San Francisco and San Pablo bays, which slows the warming early in the day. But after the fog blows off by mid-morning, Oakville receives the full benefit of the Napa Valley sun. When afternoon temperatures begin to peak, the bay blows cool breezes north to begin this cooling cycle again.
The Renteria family has been farming in the Napa Valley since 1962. The Renteria 360 Vineyard is located on the north end of Oakville, at the border of Rutherford, just off the Silverado trail. The nearly 60-acre vineyard was planted in 2012 and is comprised of multiple blocks with different clone and rootstock combinations. This wine is crafted from three distinct blocks of Cabernet Sauvignon. Planted to clones 4, 15, and 169 - combined they create a wine rich in depth, color, and flavor.

The Davies family, proprietors of Schramsberg Vineyards and Davies Vineyards in Napa Valley, presents its fourth bottling of the Simpkins Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon from the Coombsville District. Building upon its experience with its home property on Diamond Mountain in the valleys western Mayacamas Range, this bottling represents the Davies teams effort with Cabernet Sauvignon from the valleys southern end of the Vaca Range.
Located in Coombsville, the Simpkins Vineyard is managed by viticultuirst Mike Wolfe. Coombsville is a quiet area, in the southeastern corner of the Napa Valley, tucked up against the foothills of the Vaca Mountain Range, just outside of the Napa city limits. Coombsville wines can be recognized by their structured tannins, which provide excellent power and mouthfeel, along with underlying layers of earth and mineral flavors. The vineyard soil is rocky loam, providing good drainage and low nutrient concentration. Under these external stresses the vines work hard to produce a limited amount of high quality fruit.
Coombsvilles temperatures are moderated by its proximity to the San Pablo Bay. Temperate daily highs and minimal heat spikes limit dehydration, preserve acidity levels, and create even ripening patterns. The vines bud early, and the grapes tend to be harvested later, making for a long, slow ripening period which promotes intensified flavors and layering in the finished wine.
Following a second consecutive dry winter, springs bud break and flowering activity occurred two weeks earlier than normal. Vines would ultimately carry a light crop in 2021; summer heat spikes nudged the small-sized berries and clusters to even ripeness. The 2015 Blanc de Noirs Late Disgorged has been aged for over nine years on its yeast lees in our historic Diamond Mountain caves. Blanc de Noirs (white from black) is the counterpart to Blanc de Blancs (white from white). Made primarily from the red grape Pinot Noir, this is a complex, medium-bodied, brut sparkling wine. Schramsberg pioneered the Blanc de Noirs style in the United States, producing the first such commercial American sparkler in 1967. The key to producing this Blanc de Noirs is our sourcing of Pinot Noir grapes from a vast and varied selection of cool-climate North Coast vineyards. Pinot Noir from low-yielding Sonoma and Marin coastal vineyards combine with fruit from Carneros and Anderson Valley sites, to develop a sparkling wine with a breadth of fruitful aroma and flavor. Select Chardonnay lots are then added, to give zest and backbone to the blend.
Making a white wine from a red grape requires great carehand-picked fruit, early morning harvest, optimal maturity, and delicate pressing. A balance of bright flavors, crisp acidity and minimal tannins is achieved. Barrel and malolactic fermentation of select wine lots add richness and body. Yeast contact in the bottle harmonizes all the elements together. The youthful fruit character of the wine will develop and soften with additional age in the bottle. With proper storage, this sparkling wine will be delicious for many years, even decades to come.
This Schramsberg Blanc de Noirs Late Disgorged is particularly well-suited to serve with a variety of foods, including soft and nutty cheeses, macadamia nut-crusted halibut, and pork tenderloin with fresh rosemary and lemon thyme.
2015 delivered California vintners a stellar vintage. A mild winter led to an early bud break, which was followed by a protracted bloom through an unseasonably cool spring. A steady and moderate summer pushed smaller clusters to gradual maturity and exceptional quality.

Our extra bruts are produced for the growing number of enthusiasts who on occasion desire a very, very dry sparkling wine. These wines are finished with a dosage of between 0.2 - 0.6 g/100 mL of residual sugar, about half that of our other brut offerings. More broadly a progression towards a drier brut has occurred in the sparkling wine world in the past two decades, as producers have been able to develop brighter intensity of fruit flavor in the grapes that they grow. Schramsberg is no exception. Because cooler climate vineyards have produced grapes with not only higher acidity, but also riper Pinot Noir and Chardonnay characteristics, the level of dosage in our brut offerings has decreased by 15-20% through this transition.
With our tenth Extra Brut offering, we have given the clarity and depth of some of our finest blocks of the 2019 season an even greater opportunity to balance the crispness and drive of the resulting sparkling wine. Made primarily from the broader and supple Pinot Noir variety, this bottling was aged for over five years on the yeast prior to disgorgement, enabling ample time for it to soften and develop complexity and depth.
This wine is ready to enjoy upon release, but will age beautifully for another 20 years or more. This opulent and racy style matches extraordinarily well with foods that are served raw, such as caviar and ceviche, but will also pair perfectly with cooked foods such as smoked oysters, a mushroom tart, and veal picatta. An antipasto sampling with prosciutto, sopresatta, Gouda, pecorino, artichoke heart, and cured olives will also shine alongside.
The 2019 growing season had a record winter rainfall, a cool spring, and a summer growing season that was near perfect for our North Coast grapes. Cooler than normal summer temperatures slowed down fruit ripening, pushing back harvest in many areas compared to recent seasons. Harvest began in our vineyards in late August. The resulting wine reflects the high-quality, densely concentrated fruit of this vintage.

The long growing season in 2018 revealed a vintage with concentration without being overripe. Despite a warm February, the growing season started off cooler than the past few vintages. A cool spring meant bloom lasted longer than usual, which resulted in a bountiful crop. Summer temperatures were moderate with fewer heat spikes than in recent years. Veraison started later as well, and as a result, harvest started two to three weeks later than in recent years. The resulting fruit exhibited exceptional structure with depth of flavor and noticeable brightness.

The Davies family, proprietors of Schramsberg Vineyards and Davies Vineyards in Napa Valley, presents its fourth bottling of Cabernet Sauvignon from the St. Helena District. Building upon its experience with its home property on Diamond Mountain in the valleys western Mayacamas Range, this bottling represents the Davies teams effort with Cabernet Sauvignon from this famed mid-valley appellation. Second-generation Vintner Hugh Davies, Director of VP Sean Thompson and Consultant Celia Welch have collaborated well together since 2008 in crafting Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignons, and they are very proud to present this unique vineyard-designate bottling from the 2021 vintage.
Vineyards are located on ancient alluvial fans that sweep toward the Napa River.
This bottling is comprised of four Cabernet Sauvignon vineyards that all benefit from the summer warmth and sunlight of the St. Helena AVA: McGrath on Vallejo Street, Dr. Gold on Main Street, Leonardini between Sulphur Springs Avenue and Lewelling Lane and Criscione on Crystal Springs Road.

2021 "St. Helena" Cabernet Sauvignon (1 X 750 ML)
Vineyards are located on ancient alluvial fans that sweep toward the Napa River.

The Davies family, of Schramsberg Vineyards and Davies Vineyards in the Napa Valley, is proud to release its third Pinot Noir from the Dutton Ranch Vineyards in the Russian River Valley. The family's experience with Pinot Noir dates back to 1967, when Jack and Jamie Davies first used this elegant red varietal to make their first vintage of Schramsberg Blanc de Noirs sparkling wine. Over the 58 years following that first use, Schramsberg's winemakers have built longlasting relationships with some of the best Pinot Noir growers and vineyards in the North Coast. Developing upon this passion, history, and experience, second-generation Vintner Hugh Davies, along with Winemakers Sean Thompson, Jessica Koga and JP Pierce, presents this vineyard-designate Pinot Noir wine from the 2023 vintage.
The Dutton Hallberg and Perry Ranch vineyards are nestled within the Green Valley AVA of Russian River Valley. This cool, coastal valley allows vines to benefit from morning fog and afternoon breezes. This microclimate creates a natural air-conditioning effect, affording a longer growing season and slow, even ripening of fruit. The region's soils,
predominantly Goldridge series, are a combination of sandy loam and clay, known for its low fertility and excellent drainage, fostering optimal root development and grape flavor concentration. These exceptional climatic and soil conditions combine to produce exquisite Pinot Noir wines with complexity, elegance, and a distinct sense of place.
The 2023 Sonoma vintage brought bountiful yields and exceptional quality. Plentiful winter rain after years of drought led to a mild spring and milder summer. This delayed veraison and harvest, allowing for extended hang time and enhanced flavor development. Generous yields delivered outstanding fruit quality throughout the region.

Cool, foggy nights and steadily warming days provide a long, even growing season which delivers mature fruit depth with a vibrant, acidic backbone.
The 2023 Anderson Valley vintage delivered exceptional quality despite a delayed start and a cooler summer. After years of drought, plentiful winter rain led to a milder growing season. Grapes benefited from the extended hang time which resulted in yields higher than average; many vineyards having the most bountiful harvest in recent memory.

The Davies family, of Schramsberg Vineyards and Davies Vineyards in the Napa Valley, is pleased to release its ninth vintage of its Goorgian Vineyards Pinot Noir. The familys experience with Pinot Noir dates back to 1967, when Jack and Jamie Davies first used this elegant red varietal to make their inaugural vintage of Schramsberg Blanc de Noirs sparkling wine. Over the 57 years following that first use, Schramsbergs winemakers have built long-lasting relationships with some of the best Pinot Noir growers and vineyards in the North Coast. Developing upon this passion, history, and experience, second-generation Vintner Hugh Davies, along with Winemakers Sean Thompson, Jessica Koga and J.P. Pierce present this vineyard-designate Pinot Noir from the 2022 vintage.
The Goorgian Vineyards are located at the northwestern end of the Anderson Valley, 10 miles east of the Pacific Ocean and situated on steep, rocky northwest facing slopes with an elevation ranging from 200-350 feet. Shallow loamy topsoil facilitates excellent drainage above a layer of sandstone and shale, stressing the roots to reach for nutrients and water. Cooler coastal conditions are ideal for Pinot Noir, with nightly breezes dropping temperatures down into the 50s, creating the perfect sugar to acid balance in the grapes. This environment provides a long, even growing season which delivers mature fruit depth with a vibrant, acidic backbone. Goorgian Vineyards is managed by our long-time grape growing partner Paul Ardzrooni.
The 2022 growing season began with several weeks of sunny weather, leading to an earlier bud break. After a few years of drought conditions, the harvest started a few weeks earlier than normal and concluded ahead of schedule. Ripening was hastened thanks to lighter crop levels and consistently warm days in late August and early September. The smaller berries and cluster sizes led to exceptional fruit quality, resulting in wine with superb concentration and flavor.

The Davies family of Schramsberg Vineyards and Davies Vineyards in the Napa Valley is pleased to release the 2022 vintage of its Hyde Vineyards Pinot Noir from the Carneros Napa Valley AVA. The familys experience with Pinot Noir dates back to 1967, when Jack and Jamie Davies first used this elegant red varietal to make their inaugural vintage of Schramsberg Blanc de Noirs sparkling wine. Over the 57 years following that first use, Schramsbergs winemakers have built long-lasting relationships with some of the best Pinot Noir growers in the North Coast. Developing upon this passion, history, and experience, second-generation Vintner Hugh Davies, along with Winemakers Sean Thompson, Jessica Koga and J.P. Pierce, present their ninth Pinot Noir vineyard-designate release from this storied Napa Valley Carneros property.
The Hyde familys Pinot Noir vineyards are planted just north of Highway 12 at the base of the Mayacamas foothills in the Napa Valley Carneros AVA at the southernmost end of the Napa Valley. The grapes are favorably influenced by the nightly cooling effect provided by the closely located San Pablo Bay. The vines on the property thrive on three feet of loamy topsoil above an impenetrable clay subsoil. This soil combination provides superb control over the nutrients and water supply for the vines. The Davies have enjoyed working with the Hydes since 1995 with their sparkling wine program and with Pinot Noir still wine since 2013.
The 2022 growing season was the third year in a row of drought conditions. Warmer and drying temperatures led to an early bud break and lighter crop levels. Hot days leading up to mid-September further hasting ripening. A heat wave during the Labor Day weekend kicked harvest into high gear. This season yielded fruit of excellent quality, characterized by structured, concentrated color, luxurious tannins, and wonderful flavors.

The Davies family, of Schramsberg Vineyards and Davies Vineyards in the Napa Valley, is proud to release its fourth Pinot Noir release from the Keefer Ranch. The familys experience with Pinot Noir dates back to 1967, when Jack and Jamie Davies first used this elegant red varietal to make their first vintage of Schramsberg Blanc de Noirs sparkling wine. Over the 58 years following that first use, Schramsbergs winemakers have built long-lasting relationships with some of the best Pinot Noir growers and vineyards in the North Coast. The Keefer Ranch is located along the Green Valley Creek in the Russian River Valley. The vineyard is planted on gently sloping, south-facing Goldridge Loam soil. Well drained throughout the growing season, this ground is moderately vigorous, ideally suited for the growth of densely concentrated Pinot Noir wine grapes. The vineyard profits from a long, cool hang time resulting in fruit with outstanding color, extraction, and balanced tannins. Keefer Ranch Pinot Noir delivers ripe cherry, bright cranberry, sweet spice, lively acidity, soft tannins, and supple texture. The Davies family had been purchasing grapes for its sparkling program from the Keefer Ranch vineyard since 1998, and was able to add the Pinot Noir red wine to its program with the purchase of the property in 2018.
The 2023 Sonoma Coast vintage brought bountiful yields and exceptional quality. Plentiful winter rain after years of drought led to a mild spring and milder summer. This delayed veraison and harvest, allowing for extended hang time and enhanced flavor development. Generous yields delivered outstanding fruit quality throughout the region.

The Davies family, of Schramsberg Vineyards and Davies Vineyards in the Napa Valley, is pleased to release its fifteenth vintage of its Nobles Vineyard Pinot Noir. The familys experience with Pinot Noir dates back to 1967, when Jack and Jamie Davies first used this elegant red varietal to make their inaugural vintage of Schramsberg Blanc de Noirs sparkling wine. Over the 58 years following that first use, Schramsbergs winemakers have built long-lasting relationships with some of the best Pinot Noir growers and vineyards in the North Coast. Developing upon this passion, history, and experience, second-generation Vintner Hugh Davies, along with Winemakers Sean Thompson, Jessica Koga and JP Pierce present this vineyard-designate Pinot Noir wine from the 2023 vintage.
Owned and managed by the Nobles family, this vineyard produces bright, complex, and richly layered Pinot Noir grapes. It is located approximately 75 miles north of San Francisco, on the north Sonoma Coast, in the Fort Ross-Seaview AVA. With the vineyards moderate daytime and nighttime temperature swings, the Pinot Noir grapes follow a steady path to optimal ripeness, full flavor, and color expression. The site is located on the eastern slopes of the second mountain ridge in from the Pacific Ocean, between 950 and 1,050 feet above sea level. Planted in 1993, on the propertys Goldridge loam soil, less than two tons per acre of vibrant, yet supple, fruit is harvested each year.

2023 "Nobles Vineyard" Pinot Noir (1 X 750 ML)

Our 2023 Nobles Pinot Noir aromas open with a mix of blueberry, boysenberry, and espresso, layered with licorice and root beer. Subtle fresh herb lifts the darker notes. On the palate, black plum, clove and cinnamon spice take the lead, giving way to a rich, generous mouthfeel. The finish is dense and dark-fruited.- Winemakers J.P. The Davies family of Schramsberg Vineyards and Davies Vineyards in the Napa Valley is pleased to release the fourth bottling of their Three Amigos Pinot Noir from the Carneros Napa Valley AVA. Developing upon this passion, history, and experience, second-generation Vintner Hugh Davies and Winemakers Sean Thompson, Jessica Koga and J.P. Pierce are proud to present this delicious estate vineyard-designate Pinot Noir wine from the 2022 vintage.
This wine is crafted solely from the Three Amigos Vineyard, a Pinot Noir vineyard in the Napa Valley Carneros region. At a short distance from the Napa Marina, its a cool, foggy, and breezy location that Pinot Noir loves. Carneros - occasionally called Los Carneros - stretches across the southern portion of both Napa and Sonoma Valleys. Located just north of the San Pablo Bay, Carneros benefits from the bays cooling air and morning fog. Grapes from this cooler sub-appellation ripen more slowly, retaining acidity and developing complexity, and though there are now several cool-climate areas specializing in Pinot Noir, Carneros was one of the earlier-planted Pinot regions in California.

Querencia is a Brut Rosé produced solely from fruit grown in the Napa Valley Carneros region. Chardonnay forms the blends core, providing a relatively light-bodied, crisp and tangy palate. Small additions of Pinot Noir fermented with skin contact add berry brightness and color.
A portion of the proceeds from the sale of Querencia contribute to the Jack L. Davies Napa Valley Agricultural Land Preservation Fund, which supports future agricultural preservation and education efforts in Napa County. Established by the Davies family in 1998 upon the passing of Schramsberg founder Jack Davies, the fund builds on his 30-year legacy as a strong advocate for the preservation of agricultural land. Jack played an instrumental role in the establishment of the Napa Valley Agricultural Preserve in 1968, which has become a national model for the protection of agriculture. The preserve celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2018.
The wine was named by James Hickey, long-time Napa County planning director. The name is a Spanish word meaning the deep and abiding affection one has for the place one calls home. It refers to the sense of being nourished by the place in which you belong, and the balance that exists between the land and its stewards. Our Querencia Brut Rosé is hearty enough to compliment the robust flavors of shrimp ceviche, grilled halibut, roast chicken, braised pork loin, caprese salad and sushi.
The 2021 growing season started with cold temperatures and minimal rain, that gave way to warm weather through the summer months. Hot days and cold nights allowed for steady ripening throughout. A few heat spikes at the end of August encouraged the vines to dig deep in the soils, resulting in highly concentrated fruit with a beautiful balance of generous acidity.

The Davies family, proprietors of Schramsberg Vineyards in Napa Valley, presents its sixteenth vintage of J. Davies Estate jd Cabernet Sauvignon. Like its companion J. Davies Estate bottlings, this red wine is crafted solely from the densely flavored, richly structured fruit grown on the familys hillside property. Vibrant and approachable as a young wine, the medium-bodied jd is carefully blended from select barrels by our winemaking team and released after two and a half years of aging. Bearing the initials of Jack Davies, who along with his wife, Jamie, revived the historic Schramsberg winery property in 1965, it is the product of an intimate knowledge of this place, and a passion to create delicious Cabernet Sauvignon.

The Davies family, proprietors of Schramsberg Vineyards and the J. Davies Estate in Napa Valley, presents its eleventh vintage of Davies Vineyards Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. Expanding on knowledge gained through the production of the J. Davies Cabernet Sauvignon wines from their Diamond Mountain property, this bottling represents an outstanding range of sites across the Napa Valley. Each vineyard is intentionally farmed to produce low yields, resulting in vivid, concentrated flavors. The finished wine exhibits vibrant fruitful flavors, a rich texture, and firm tannic structure, allowing for enjoyment now as well as extended aging.
The Napa Valley was Californias first AVA, or American Viticultural Area, recognized by the U.S. government in 1981. Though just 30 miles long and a few miles wide, Napa Valley is one of the most geologically diverse wine regions in the world. Home to various microclimates, elevations, and soils, it has a dry Mediterranean climate which is ideal for producing consistent wines from vintage to vintage. This wine is crafted from grapes sourced from the Mayacamas Mountains and the Vaca Range, including the sub-appellations of Diamond Mountain, Howell Mountain, Spring Mountain, and Atlas Peak, as well as from the valley floor, which includes the appellations of Napa Carneros, Coombsville, Oakville, St. Helena, and Calistoga. The general climate provides near-perfect fruit development conditions during the peak growing season with little rainfall, warm days, and cool nights.

Our Blanc de Blanc Extra Brut is the most crisp, dry, and palate-cleansing sparkling wine in our portfolio. Finished with a dosage of 0.2 g/100 mL of residual sugar, or about 25% of our traditional Blanc de Blancs bottling, it will be ideal with oysters on-the-half-shell, caviar, smoked salmon or your favorite potato chip. Our extraordinary set of cool-climate, North Coast vineyards produce Chardonnay grapes with both vibrant natural acidity and a brightness of citrus, apple and tropical fruit flavor that can be beautifully balanced across a range of low dosage levels.
Blanc de Blancs (white from whites), made from Chardonnay, is the counterpart to the Blanc de Noirs (white from blacks), made from Pinot Noir. Blanc de Blancs was the first wine Schramsberg produced in 1965 and was Americas first commercially produced Chardonnay-based brut sparkling wine. Schramsberg Blanc de Blancs gained international recognition in 1972 when then President Nixon served the wine at the historic Toast to Peace in Beijing, China
Small lots of barrel fermented wines, some of which complete malolactic fermentation, are added to stainless-steel fermented wines to create added complexity in the blended base wine. After undergoing a second fermentation in bottle, this wine was aged on its yeast lees for thirty months prior to disgorgement. With its lively and focused nature, this sparkling wine will maintain its freshness, structure, and refined finish for many years, even decades following its initial release.
The 2021 growing season started with cold temperatures and minimal rain, that gave way to warm weather through the summer months. Hot days and cold nights allowed for steady ripening throughout the season. The few heat spikes at the end of August encouraged the vines to dig deep in the soils, resulting in highly concentrated fruit with a beautiful balance of generous acidity.

The Davies family, of Schramsberg Vineyards and Davies Vineyards in the Napa Valley, is pleased to release its fifteeth vintage of Pinot Noir red wines. This Pinot Noir bottling is a blend of the Ferrington and Goorgian Vineyards, located at opposite ends of the Anderson Valley at the southern end of Mendocino County. Developing upon this passion, history, and experience, second-generation Vintner Hugh Davies, along with Winemakers Sean Thompson, Jessica Koga and JP Pierce, presents this appellation-designate Pinot Noir wine from the 2023 vintage.
The Ferrington Vineyards property, located approximately 100 miles north of San Francisco and 17 miles inland from the Pacific Ocean, is in a fertile pocket of land found at the edge of the northeastern foothills of Mendocino Countys Anderson Valley AVA. Between 360 and 440 feet above sea level, the vines produce approximately 2.5 tons per acre of bright, complex fruit. Goorgian Vineyards is located at the northwestern end of the Anderson Valley, 10 miles east of the Pacific Ocean and situated on steep rocky north-west facing slopes with an elevation ranging from 200-350 feet. From its highest point you can see down to the southeastern end of the valley.

This bottling is a blend from two of the most important vineyard sites within the Napa Carneros AVA: Hyde and Three Amigos. The grapes from the Carneros region are favorably influenced by the nightly cooling effect from the closely located San Pablo Bay. These cool temperatures allow the fruit to retain its acidity. The vines thrive on three feet of loamy topsoil above an impenetrable clay subsoil, tempering control over the vines nutrient and water supply.
The 2023 Napa Valley vintage is being hailed as one of the best in recent memory. After multiple years of drought, we finally had generous winter rainfall followed by a long, mild growing season. The cooler summer allowed for extended hang time and a much later-than-usual harvest. Higher than average yields resulted in vibrant, fresh, and elegant wines.

The Davies family, of Schramsberg Vineyards and Davies Vineyards in the Napa Valley, is pleased to release the 2023 vintage of its Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir. This wine is a blend crafted from Dutton Ranch, Keefer Ranch and Nobles Vineyard. Developing upon this passion, history, and experience, second-generation Vintner Hugh Davies, along with Winemakers Sean Thompson, Jessica Koga and JP Pierce, presents this delicious appellation-designate Pinot Noir.
Dutton Ranch (Hallberg and Perry Ranch) and Keefer Ranch are located in the Green Valley AVA of the Russian River Valley. Consisting predominantly of Goldridge soil, well drained throughout the growing season, this ground generates moderate vine vigor, ideally suited for the maturation of densely concentrated Pinot Noir wine grapes. The vineyards profit from a long, cool hang time resulting in fruit with outstanding color, extraction, and balanced tannins. Nobles Vineyard, in the Fort Ross-Seaview AVA, produces Pinot Noir with vibrant red berry flavors and a supple, layered texture. The vineyards are on the eastern slopes of the second mountain ridge in from the Pacific Ocean, between 950 and 1,050 feet above sea level.

Schramsberg Brut Rosé is fruitful, complex and dry, making it both versatile with food and delicious by itself as an apéritif. The character of the wine is most strongly influenced by bright, flavorful Pinot Noir grown along Californias North Coast from southern Mendocino County to northern Marin County. A few small lots of Pinot Noir are fermented in contact with their skins to add depth and subtle color to this vibrant sparkling wine. Chardonnay gives spice, structure and length on the palate.
Hand picking, careful handling and gentle pressing produce a wine of delicacy, aromatic purity and depth. Following the fall harvest and fermentation of the base wines, extensive tasting trials are carried out in the spring to create a polished blend reflective of the vintage. The finished blend undergoes a second fermentation in bottle before aging on its yeast lees for about two years, just enough to achieve refined effervescence and toastiness without diminishing its refreshing, vibrant appeal.
Enjoy this lively, luscious sparkler on almost any occasion: at your favorite restaurant, a special dinner at home, at a beach picnic or a backyard barbecue. A very versatile wine; try it with sushi, salmon, rock shrimp, roast chicken, BBQ ribs, caprese and Panzanella salads, red berry tarts, and an array of cheeses, charcuterie, nuts and fresh fruit.

The Schramsberg Crémant Demi-sec is a delicate, off-dry sparkling wine: an American original. Crémant is French for creamy and traditionally refers to a wine with light effervescence. It has approximately two-thirds the pressure of our other sparkling wines and presents a creamier texture with vibrant fruit flavors. Schramsberg made its first Crémant in 1972. After rigorous study, Jack and Jamie Davies chose a unique California grape named Flora (a cross of Sémillon and Gewürztraminer developed at UC Davis) to be a component of this sparkling wine. Flora unites the fruitful spice of Gewürztraminer with the strength, depth and minerality of Sémillon. Aging on the yeast for over two years prior to disgorgement adds complexity, yet the wine will retain its youthful appeal for 20 years or more.
Schramsberg Crémant Demi-sec has been served at many U.S. State events, including President Reagans Second Inaugural Luncheon and President Obamas White House Dinner for Chinas President Jinping. Most recently, the Crémant Demi-sec was served at President Bidens White House dinner honoring the U.S.-Africa Leaders Summit.
The sweetness in Crémant is subtle, providing a fine balance with desserts, such as fruit tarts, poached fruits, light cakes, custards, exotic sorbets, gingerbread, and crème brûlée. It also compliments a wide range of savory cuisine, from dim sum to blue cheese to foie gras.

Schramsberg first produced a Blanc de Noirs brut sparkling wine in 1967. This white sparkling wine produced from dark grapes is more complex, creamy and medium-bodied than the Blanc de Blancs style. The key to our success here is the great diversity of cool, maritime climate Pinot Noir vineyard blocks that we work with.Low yielding sites from Mendocinos Anderson Valley to the north thorugh the Sonoma Coast, Marin Coast and Carneros to the south combine, to develop a sparkling wine with a breadth of fruitful aroma and flavor. Select Chardonnay lots are then added, to give zest and backbone to the blend.
Making a white wine from a red grape requires great carehand-picked fruit, early morning harvest, optimal maturity, and delicate pressing. A balance of bright fruit, crisp acidity and minimal tannins is achieved.
Schramsberg Blanc de Noirs is particularly well-suited to serve with a variety of foods, including soft and nutty cheeses, macadamia nut-crusted halibut, and pork tenderloin with fresh rosemary and lemon thyme.

Schramsberg Blanc de Blancs gained international recognition in 1972 when then President Nixon served the wine at the historic Toast to Peace in Beijing, China.
The Schramsberg style of Blanc de Blancs is dry and crisp. Small lots of barrel fermented wines, some of which complete malolactic fermentation, are added to stainless-steel fermented wines to create added complexity in the blended base wine. After undergoing a second fermentation in bottle, the wine then ages on its yeast lees for about two years prior to disgorgement. With its vibrant, fruitful and focused nature, this sparkling wine will maintain its freshness, structure and refined finish for many years, even decades following its initial release.
While this wine can be enjoyed by itself as an apéritif, it is also perfect with fresh oysters and other shellfish, crab cakes, ceviche and grilled sea bass. It is also delicious with lemon chicken and Thai curries. Serve with aged Gouda and other hard cheeses, or as a counterpoint to soft triple creams.

Twenty years into building an outstanding range of vintage-dated sparkling wines, the Davies family set out to master the non-vintage or multi-vintage traditional method technique. A few years of experimentation would ultimately lead to the successful launch of Mirabelle Brut and Mirabelle Brut Rose in 1992. These bottlings are specially crafted blend of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from Schramsbergs select cool-climate vineyards in the Napa-Carneros, Sonoma Coast, Anderson Valley, and Marin County areas of Californias North Coast. Starting in 2022, the Mirabelle packaging started to designate the bottling number to give specificity to each bottling of Mirabelle, and to highlight the vintage which is primarily in the blend. For this 33rd bottling, the 2021 vintage makes up 84% of the blend, with the other 16% coming from our base wine cellars of prior vintages.
The grapes are picked by hand and gently pressed to provide superior quality juice for the production of this balanced, refreshing rosé bubbly. In the spring following the fall harvest, base wines are individually evaluated and carefully blended by our winemakers. Pinot Noir lots, including a few fermented with skin contact, provide brightness of berry fruit and body, while Chardonnay lots lend length and zest to the palate. Additional flavor depth and aromatic complexity results from the blending of base wine lots aged in barrels and tanks for one or more years. The wine undergoes secondary fermentation in the bottle and rests for approximately two years before its release. Following the en tirage aging, an extensive dosage trial process produces the ideal finishing touch, and the sparkling wine is ready to be enjoyed. The finished Brut Rosé exhibits fresh, elegant, and toasty aromas that lead to lively and delicious fruit flavors on the palate.

Mirabelle Brut Rosé, 33rd Bottling (1 x 750 ml)

Mirabelle is Schramsbergs multi-vintage brut sparkling wine. Twenty years into building an outstanding range of vintage dated sparkling wines, the Davies family set out to master the non-vintage or multi-vintage traditional method technique. A few years of experimentation would ultimately lead to the successful launch of Mirabelle Brut and Mirabelle Brut Rose in 1992.
Unlike our vintage bottlings, Mirabelle gains unique richness from blending additions of aged base wines, stored in barrels and tanks at the winery from prior vintages. These older lots add significant palate richness and aromatic complexity. Starting in 2022, the Mirabelle packaging started to designate the bottling number to give additional specificity to each bottling of Mirabelle, and to highlight the vintage which is primarily in the blend. For the 34th bottling, the 2022 vintage makes up 95% of the blend, with the other 5% coming from select previous vintage lots.
This flavorful, bright bubbly exhibits the crisp acidity and vibrant apple/citrus fruit that is characteristic of cool-climate Chardonnay. Pinot Noir adds body to the palate and further depth of fruit flavor. The grapes for Mirabelle are grown in the cool-climate pockets of Californias North Coast, including the Napa-Carneros, Sonoma Coast, Anderson Valley, and Marin County. The fruit is hand-picked in the early morning hours at optimal maturity. Individual lot fermentations allow the winemakers to carefully select the components that make up the finished blend. After bottle fermentation and two years of aging en tirage, subsequent trials determine the ideal dosage to finish this brut style.
Mirabelle Brut is delicious as a dry apéritif and is also well-suited as an accompaniment to a broad range of foods, including oysters on the half shell, sushi, baked halibut, country fried chicken, cream-based pasta dishes, fruits, nuts and cheeses.
