Tasting notes

Our 2016 J. Schram Noirs exhibits generous aromas of peach, apricot, baked orange, caramel, graham cracker and dried mango. Its palate delivers a broad, juicy, coating entry, leading to flavors of apple crumble, cinnamon toast, and grilled pineapple. A bright, long finish is driven by a backbone of generous, fruitful acidity."

"Our 2015 Blanc de Noirs Late Disgorged has aromas of citrus, apple, and baked pineapple, warmed with notes of peach cobbler, honey toast and lemon cookie. Hints of almond paste and graham cracker add nuttiness. The palate is driven by tangy yet crisp and clean acidity, carrying flavors of orange marmalade and toasted brioche. A juicy center stretches into a long finish."

"Our 2021 Blanc de Noirs Extra Brut opens with aromas of orange zest, yellow apple, and pineapple, layered with notes of honey, almond paste, and fresh ginger. The palate presents flavors of nectarine and apricot, followed by juicy tangerine and guava. Hints of marzipan and sugar cookie, alongside lightly toasted brioche, add richness. Zippy acidity drives a tart length, with a dry and quenching finish."

"Our 2020 Nobles Vineyard Blanc de Noirs presents inviting aromas of yellow apple, pineapple, barely ripe strawberry, peach, and pear, mingled with notes of caramel and graham cracker. On the palate, candied orange peel, tangerine, and apricot provide a tart entry and bright acidity. The length is tangy, with hints of white raspberry and pomegranate. Toffee and toasted brioche round out the finish."

"Our 2022 Blanc de Noirs opens with enticing aromas of yellow peach, apricot, lemon zest, and elderflower, complemented by notes of puff pastry, glazed orange, and almond paste. A tart and zippy entry, showcasing bright citrus and honey, intertwines with a touch of custard and lemon bar. A vibrant acidity in this bottling supports a long, quenching finish."
