2013 Querencia Brut Rosé (1 x 750 ml)
Querencia is produced solely from fruit grown in the Napa Valley Carneros region. Chardonnay forms the blend's core, providing a relatively light-bodied, crisp and tangy palate. Small additions of Pinot Noir fermented with skin contact add berry brightness and color. This brut rosé sparkling wine is hearty enough to complement the robust flavors of Mediterranean cooking and delicate enough to be served with a truly broad range of appetizers.
Querencia has vibrant aromas of watermelon, peach and raspberry, which are accentuated with hints of Granny Smith apple, graham cracker and candied cherry. The palate sustains bright flavors of apricot, kumquat, and strawberry that linger in the mouth, with a persistent and crisp finish.- Winemakers Sean Thompson and Hugh Davies
Beautiful in peach color, this blends 73% Chardonnay and 27% Pinot Noir. Dry and crisp, it tangles together vibrant flavors of grapefruit, tangerine and cherry, as aromas of rose petal whisper by. A stony mineral component adds complexity and invitation to the texture.- Wine Enthusiast (November 2017)
Alluring and delicate, with floral nectarine and watermelon flavors and refined strawberry, gingerbread and spice notes that glide toward a long finish.- Wine Spectator (October 2017)
A blend of 73% Chardonnay and 27% Pinot Noir, all coming from Napa, the 2013 Querencia Rose sports a very pale salmon-pink color and nose of lemon curd, white peach and kumquat with hints of raspberry leaves, lavender, fresh hay and roasted almonds. The palate is delicate and clean with gentle stone fruit and red berry notes, finishing long and lively.- Wine Advocate (October 2017)
