One bottle each of seven Davies Vineyards vineyard-designated Pinot Noirs: 2019 "Nobles Vineyard" Pinot Noir, 2019 "Three Amigos Vineyard" Pinot Noir, 2019 "Goorgian Vineyards" Pinot Noir, and 2019 "Keefer Ranch" Pinot Noir, 2019 "Sonoma Coast" Pinot Noir, 2019 "Napa Carneros" Pinot Noir, 2019 "Anderson Valley" Pinot Noir. Each of these expressions of the Pinot Noir grape highlights the particular vineyard where it was grown.

Tasting notes

The 2019 Nobles Pinot Noir opens elegantly to aromas of Santa Rosa plum and strawberry rhubarb, intermingled with notes of espresso, cinnamon and nutmeg. The palate offers focused acidity, with flavors of wild blueberry, red cherry and dark chocolate. A willowy length, leads to a bright and fresh finish."

"The 2019 Three Amigos Pinot Noir features inviting aromas of black raspberry, strawberry, and dark chocolate, combined with touches of black pepper and coriander. The youthful structure engages with layered flavors of bright cranberry, and rhubarb with touches of ginger and hibiscus on the finish."

"The 2019 Goorgian Pinot Noir opens with concentrated aromas of boysenberry, black cherry, marionberry and cocoa, with layers of anise and rose petal delicately woven in. The clean and fresh palate of red berry and cranberry is supported with richer tones of dark chocolate and licorice, which leads to a focused acitiy on the finish."

"The 2019 Keefer Ranch Pinot Noir exhibits aromas of cherry, blackberry, cranberry and lavender, with a lingering whisp of strawberry. The palate opens with tangy acidity that drives delicious layers of brambly raspberry, sour cherry, rhubarb and vanilla, with elements of Madagascar vanilla that are supported by intergrated tanins."

"The 2019 Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir engages with aromas of pomegranate, red plum, and cocoa powder, with touches of freshly ground coffee and lavender. The juicy and long palate features delicate layers of red cherry, hibiscus tea, vanilla, and mocha, with a touch of tobacco leaf, all of which is carried by driving acidity on the finish."
