Mirabelle Mixed Case (12 x 750 ml)

A mixed case of our two Mirabelle bottlings, provide you with a wonderful supply of bubbles for all of those upcoming celebrations.

The set includes: six 750 mL bottles of both of our Mirabelle Brut and Mirabelle Brut Rosé.

The Mirabelle Brut and Mirabelle Brut Rosé are Schramsbergs' multi-vintage brut sparkling wine offerings. These young, bright bubblies exhibit the crisp acidity and vibrant green apple/citrus fruit that is characteristic of cool-climate Chardonnay. Pinot Noir adds body, mid-palate and further richness of fruit flavor. Unlike our vintage bottlings, our Mirabelles gains unique depth from blending additions of aged base wines, stored in barrels and tanks at the winery from prior vintages. These older lots add significant palate richness and aromatic complexity.

As with Schramsbergs single-vintage sparkling wines, all grapes for our Mirabelle bottlings are grown in the cool-climate pockets of Californias North Coast, including Carneros, Anderson Valley, Sonoma Coast and Marin County. The fruit is hand-picked in the early morning hours at optimal maturity. Individual lot fermentations allow the winemakers to carefully select the components that make up the finished blend. After bottle fermentation and about two years of aging en tirage, subsequent trials determine the ideal dosages to finish these brut style offerings.

Mirabelle Brut works well as a dry apéritif and is also well-suited as an accompaniment to a broad range of foods, including oysters on the half shell, sushi, baked halibut, cheeses and cream-based pasta dishes.

The multi-vintage Mirabelle Rosé is delicious on its own, and it also pairs well with everything from grilled salmon, country fried chicken, BBQ pork ribs, Caprese salad, poke tuna, classic Hawaiian pizza or simple pastas.

Reviews

93 Points - Mirabelle Brut
This elegant and a plush wine is compelling from the first whiff of brioche through creamy, baking-spice flavors to a lingering delicate finish. A luxurious mouthfeel, good balance between crispness and ripeness and a profusion of flavor make it rival the quality of the parent brand, Schramsberg.- Wine Enthusiast (November 2019)
93 Points - Mirabelle Brut Rosé
This medium-bodied, elegant wine blends red-apple and red-cherry aromas with a nervy, brisk texture and flavors tinged with cinnamon. Made with 86% Pinot Noir and the remainder Chardonnay, 39% of the blend was barrel fermented. It feels smooth and brisk at the same time and has great overall balance."- Wine Enthusiast (November 2019)
