Tasting notes

The 2010 J. Schram opens with bright aromas of green apple, grilled pineapple and candied ginger, followed by nuances of lemon bar, graham cracker and nutmeg. The elegant palate features fruitful elements of apple, pear, Meyer lemon and sweet lime, layered with cinnamon spice and a pleasing finish driven by fresh fruitful acidity."

"The 2010 Reserve exhibits lively aromas of baked pear, apricot and candied orange that gain complexity with touches of Christmas spice, honey and crème caramel. Flavors of baked peach, roasted pineapple and mango are layered with toasted hazelnut, leading to a rich and powerful finish with fresh and clean acidity."

"The 2016 Blanc de Blancs has bright aromas of ripe green apple, Bosc pear, sweet spice and buttered brioche, which intermingle with hints of fresh ginger, stone fruit and coriander. Honeycrisp apple, grilled lemon, and orange peel bring fruitful notes to the mid-palate, ending with a clean crisp acidity that's punctuated with caramelized and tropical flavors."

"The 2015 Blanc de Noirs expresses generous aromas of white peach, dried mango and fresh honeycomb, which gradually layer with fragrances of milk chocolate and marzipan. Rich flavors coat the palate with apricot, strawberry cream, almond and dark spice, while a lively acidic backbone gives way to a candied ginger and Mandarin orange finish.
