2023 "Anderson Valley" Pinot Noir (1 x 750 ml)
The Ferrington Vineyards property, located approximately 100 miles north of San Francisco and 17 miles inland from the Pacific Ocean, is in a fertile pocket of land found at the edge of the northeastern foothills of Mendocino Countys Anderson Valley AVA. Between 360 and 440 feet above sea level, the vines produce approximately 2.5 tons per acre of bright, complex fruit. Goorgian Vineyards is located at the northwestern end of the Anderson Valley, 10 miles east of the Pacific Ocean and situated on steep rocky north-west facing slopes with an elevation ranging from 200-350 feet. From its highest point you can see down to the southeastern end of the valley.
The 2023 Anderson Valley vintage delivered exceptional quality despite a delayed start and a cooler summer. After years of drought, plentiful winter rain led to a milder growing season. Grapes benefited from the extended hang time which resulted in yields higher than average; many vineyards having the most bountiful harvest in recent memory.

Reviews
94 Points - Cellar SelectionOpulent aromas of baked Bing cherry pie, boysenberry, allspice, Tahitian vanilla, and dried potpourri waft on the nose of this wine. Concentrated flavors evoke red plum, strawberry jam, blood orange zest, and cardamom spice swirling midpalate, with lively acidity. Cellar until 2032 or aerate and enjoy. Pair with roasted chicken with baked new potatoes and fresh herbs.- Wine Enthusiast, Advance Buying Guide - March 3, 2026
