2015 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon (1 X 750 ML)
Five vineyards sites from across Napa Valley have come together to construct this wine. Two vineyards from the lush, alluvial soils on the valley floor in Yountville and Rutherford, contribute a core of deep flavors and firm tannins. Moving just off the valley floor, at the foot of Mount St. Helena in Calistoga, is a site that springs from white soils, yielding softer and brighter fruitful nuances. Finally, two rugged mountain hillside sites, where the soils are volcanic, are brought in. These sites, from Diamond Mountain on the west side of the valley and Howell Mountain from the east, cultivate low-yielding vines that produce ripe red fruit for balance and structure.
This Napa Valley Cabernet opens with rich aromas of roasted cherry and black plum, accentuated by undertones of vanilla, coffee and mountain sage. Integrated tannins anchor the wines palate where the silky entry of black cherry and currant leads to an equally smooth finish of sarsaparilla, espresso and cola spice.- Winemakers Sean Thompson, Hugh Davies and Celia Welch

This is a remarkable deal for the quality and the appellationa winning study in dusty sage, pencil shavings and lean, well-integrated fruit. A small percentage of Malbec is added, the whole Old World in style and nature, with supple texture and lasting earth and cola spice- Wine Enthusiast (September 2018)
Deep garnet-purple colored, the 2015 Cabernet Sauvignon has a pronounced nose of crushed black currants and black cherries with hints of dried bay leaves, chocolate box and tapenade. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is well crafted with vibrant black fruits that fill the mouth and are nicely framed by grainy tannins, finishing with some spicy hints and oodles of freshness.- The Wine Advocate (October 2017)
