Tasting notes

The 2009 J. Schram Rosé exhibits generous aromas of pineapple, strawberry, peach, and mango, balanced by aspects of shortbread, spice and honey. Concentrated flavors of juicy stonefruit and candied citrus are partnered with undertones of white pepper, graham cracker, and toasted brioche. The creamy palate is supported by a focused acidity that leads into a long, layered and clean finish."

"The 2009 J. Schram opens with bright aromas of baked apple, meyer lemon, and pineapple, followed by nuances of honey, toffee, and cinnamon toast. On first sip, caramel and caramelized pear flavors are present, which are accentuated by layers of persimmon and baked pineapple. The palates texture is rich and coating on entry. A long finish is driven by generous and bright acidity."

"The 2009 Reserve exhibits bursting, fruitful aromas of red apple, caramelized pear and lemon bar, that gain complexity with touches of toffee, honey and candied pecan. Flavors of baked orange cake, vanilla custard, and shortbread cookie are followed by developed notes of graham cracker and cinnamon. The palate is rich on entry with a dense structure supported by long mouthwatering acidity."

"The 2014 'Jamie' Cabernet Sauvignon holds perfumed aromas of black cherry, blackberry, cinnamon, vanilla and dried orange zest. The palate is well-structured with flavors of black plum and dark chocolate mingled with that of freshly ground coffee. This rich palate is seamless with a broad entry, refreshing acid, and a fruitful finish."

"The 2015 J. Davies Estate Cabernet Sauvignon leads with rich aromas of dark red cherry, black plum, tobacco leaf, and white pepper. The palate is densely layered with fruitful flavors of cassis and blueberry, and supported by delicious undertones of cinnamon, clove, and coriander. The polished fine-grain tannins carry the flavors to a long finish."

"The 2016 Davies Ferrington VIneyards Pinot Noir features expressive aromas of strawberry, cherry, jasmine, baking spice, red currant, almond, and a touch of anise. The palate is well structured, offering flavors of black plum, red currant, pepper, vanilla, cassis, dark chocolate with fine grained tannins, which lead effortlessly into a long, lasting finish.
